deployEMDS

Project name: deployEMDS (Data space for mobility – deployment)

Project Acronym: deployEMDS

Duration: 01.11.2023 – 31.10.2026

Description

The goal of the deployEMDS project is to contribute to the development of the European Mobility Data Space (EMDS) as outlined in the European Data Strategy and the European Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy. This involves establishing and facilitating the implementation of an operational Data Space for mobility.

In the deployEMDS project, 9 cities and regions (Barcelona, Budapest, Flanders, Île-de-France, Lisbon, Milan, Sofia, Stockholm, Tampere) are introducing technical solutions that facilitate access to key data sources and their sharing through the establishment of a European data space, further reinforcing the vision of a connected and data-driven mobility environment.

BKK supports the integration of various Budapest mobility data sources into a pilot dataspace system, contributes to the development of a test version of a simulated multimodal route planner and a predictive (traffic forecasting) model based on real Budapest data – aimed at supporting the further development of BudapestGO parameterisation settings – and provides support for testing an assistance system facilitating mobility for people with reduced mobility.
