Project name: deployEMDS (Data space for mobility – deployment)

Project Acronym: deployEMDS

deployEMDS

Duration: 01.11.2023 – 31.10.2026

Description

The goal of the deployEMDS project is to contribute to the development of the European Mobility Data Space (EMDS) as outlined in the European Data Strategy and the European Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy. This involves establishing and facilitating the implementation of an operational Data Space for mobility.

In the deployEMDS project, 9 cities and regions (Barcelona, Budapest, Flanders, Île-de-France, Lisbon, Milan, Sofia, Stockholm, Tampere) are introducing technical solutions that facilitate access to key data sources and their sharing through the establishment of a European data space, further reinforcing the vision of a connected and data-driven mobility environment.

With the support of the project, BKK integrates various mobility data sources into the BudapestGO application (including shared mobility providers), thereby improving multimodal transportation integration and route planning. Additionally, within the project framework, BKK is developing an integrated transportation data warehouse that facilitates unified service for external and internal clients according to a structured framework.
