Description

The aim of the ASCEND project is to establish positive clean energy urban districts. The consortium consists of 39 partners from 14 countries. Budapest represents itself in this project by BKK Centre for Budapest Transport jointly with the Municipality of Budapest. The area located under Megyeri út 45 in district 4 and its vicinity is designated for the location of the pilot action in Budapest, where, among others, the building formerly functioning as a school will be converted, solar panels will be installed on buildings, smart bus stops and electric charging stations will be designed and the public space will become greener.
