New member joins mobile ticket sales network

Starting from mid-October, the K&H+ service will be added to those offering mobile tickets for the transport services by BKK Centre for Budapest Transport. The new service will be introduced gradually among customers using the bank’s application.

A new vendor has joined BKK’s sales network of public transport mobile tickets. From now on, K&H Bank is offering its customers easy access to purchasing the mobile ticket in collaboration with the National Mobile Payment company (NM Zrt). Bank customers using the K&H mobile bank do not need to download yet another mobile application, as the K&H+ service of the mobile bank can be used to buy BKK tickets and passes.

The basic functions, information content and ticket layout required for verifying eligibility for travel with the fare products bought through the K&H+ service remain unchanged. Mobile ticket control is carried out as it is currently , and the “metro stations” functionality is also available in the K&H app.

The mobile ticket is found under K&H+ in the K&H mobile bank; the locations of function buttons and product/information categories may differ from those in other applications.

About the mobile ticket

BKK launched the Public Transport Mobile Ticket Project in the summer of 2019 in collaboration with the National Mobile Payment company (NM Zrt.) Several new products have been added to the service offering following the positive experience so far. The infrastructure of the National Mobile Payment System (NMFR) is an open platform ensuring the integration of resellers, which allows passengers to use the application of their choice.

Currently four applications are available for purchasing BKK tickets and passes. In addition to the app by NM Zrt (Android and iOS version), the Simple app (Android and iOS version), and the VoxPay app (Android and iOS versions), now K&H is also offering Android and iOS versions of its app. All passengers need to do is to download the app best suited to their mobile phones.
