Budapest, 4 April 2023 – In order to help BKK customers quickly find their way around, bus line 100E bus has been renamed. As of April, the service will be called 100E Airport Express.
From the beginning of April, a new name will be introduced for the 100E bus linking the city centre and Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The numbering 100E will remain, but the wording Airport Express will be added.
Surveys show that 83% of passengers on the service are international travellers, that is why BKK decided to extend the existing name to help foreign tourists arriving in Budapest to find their way around.
The special-fare single ticket for the bus service can be purchased in the BudapestGO app, from BKK ticket vending machines, at customer service points - of which there are two at the airport - and at BKK ticket offices. The nearest point of sale can always be found in the map point finder on the BKK website.
