Project name: USER-CHI (Innovative solutions for USER centric CHarging Infrastructure)
Duration: 01/02/2020 - 31/07/2024
Description
The objective of the USER-CHI project is to elaborate innovative solutions adjusted to users’ demands to make electric vehicles popular. The project focuses on the following two areas: urban charging and fast/ultra fast charging infrastructure to be found along the TEN-T network. Industrial partners, research centres and also cities (Budapest, Barcelona, Berlin, Rome and Turku and two take-up-cities; Florence and Murcia) participate in the project. In Budapest, the project’s pursued task is to gain knowledge about users’ demands in relation to the development, usage and habits of the charging infrastructure. As a result of the project, mobility points equipped with an electric charging infrastructure are established (the Municipality of Budapest participates as a demonstrator city, planning a pilot intervention) and also a cooperative framework is carried out with market-based service providers.
