

What are the rules for using this fare product?
It is valid for a one-way single trip; trip interruptions and return trips are not permitted, except for metro lines, where transferring between the metro lines is possible if going in one direction (return trips in the opposite direction are not allowed).
For what services is the pass valid?
Within the administrative boundaries of Budapest for almost all BKK services and suburban buses (lines 1-99, 101-299, 900-999, M1, M2, M3, M4), on HÉV suburban railway lines (H5, H6, H7, H8, H9). This pass is not valid on the 100E Airport Express.
Ticket validation
On the metro network (lines M1, M2, M3 and M4), the single ticket bought on the spot must be validated with a validating machine at the metro station entrance before you start your trip by entering the paying zone beyond the row of validators. On all other services, ticket validation must be done upon boarding the vehicle or upon departure at the latest. If you need to transfer to a replacement vehicle (e.g. in the event of service cancellation, breakdown, track closure), you can continue your journey with the ticket already validated, but you must re-validate the ticket by stamping its end without the number grid, with the validator aboard the replacement vehicle.
Sales points
It is on sale at certain vehicles indicated by a pictogram (in case of tramlines, tramlines 2, 2M, 3, 19, 28, 28A, 37, 37A, 41, 42, 50, 51, 51A, 52, 62, 62A, 69 and it is on sale by drivers of suburban buses on the paper-tickets of VOLÁN) and also by entry personnel at certain stops.

The ticket price changed as of June 1, 2025. You can read about the validity of tickets purchased for 600 HUF before 31 May 2025 on this page.
The ticket must be presented at the time of ticket inspection and handed over at the request of the person carrying out the check. The single, one-way journey without transfers or interruptions must be completed within 80 minutes (120 minutes on night services). If your journey takes less than 80 minutes, the remaining validity time will be lost.
Tickets are valid for travel during the validity period of the indicated price and the transitional period immediately following a price change. The transitional period is one year following the price change. During the three-month replacement period immediately following the transitional period, unused tickets will be replaced in value with tickets at the sales price valid during the replacement period.
