15 March is Hungary's national holiday commemorating the Revolution and War of Independence of 1848-49. In connection with national holiday, official events and gatherings will take place across the city, leading to extended road closures on Múzeum körút, the section of Andrássy út within the Grand Boulvard, Szabadság híd, and Pilvax köz.
Public transport services operated by BKK will also be affected: several tram and bus lines will run on modified routes during the holiday.
