What are the rules for using this fare product?
Valid for a single, uninterrupted one-way trip on the 100E Airport Express bus line operating between Budapest city centre and Liszt Ferenc International Airport. Please note that this ticket does not entitle you to transfer to or travel on other lines. Other tickets or passes cannot be used on 100E Airport Express.
Ticket purchase and validation with Pay&GO
Travel comfortably with no paper-based tickets. Purchase the Airport Shuttle Bus Single Ticket with your bankcard onboard the bus. Touch your bankcard, smart phone or smart watch to the device, during which you purchase and also validate your ticket. Your bankcard will serve as a ticket. Please find further information here.
Ticket validation – paper tickets
Ticket validation must be done at the passenger coordinator serving at the stops upon boarding the vehicle or upon departure at the latest. If you need to transfer to a replacement vehicle (e.g. in the event of service cancellation, breakdown), you can continue your journey with the ticket already validated, but you must re-validate the ticket by stamping its end without the number grid, with the validator aboard the replacement vehicle.
Ticket validation – mobile ticket
The digital single ticket must be validated before starting your trip. In order to do so, please scan the QR code or in case you use the BudapestGO app, touch your smart phone to the NFC sticker on the external side of the vehicle. Please present the appearing animated image to access control staff on duty as you board through the front door. Validity period
The journey must be completed no later than 80 minutes from the time of validation. This means that the single, one-way trip without transfers or stopovers must be completed by the end of this period at the latest.

Further information
The ticket must be presented at the time of ticket inspection and handed over at the request of the person carrying out the check. When purchasing a mobile ticket, the animated symbol or code must be presented, as described by ticket validation rules or at the request of the inspector, the code to be found when clicking on the details of the ticket.
An active internet connection is required to use the mobile ticket.
