What are the rules for using this fare product?
More trips with one ticket! Choose the 30-minute ticket and get onboard nearly any BKK line within 30 minutes. The time-based ticket entitles you to unlimited number of transfers between metro lines and also other lines. Moreover, you can finish your trip beyond the 30th minute until you reach your destination within Budapest, in case your last transfer is within the given 30 minutes.
Important! Please scan the code each time when you board a vehicle to validate your ticket.

For what services is this fare product valid?
Within the administrative boundaries of Budapest for almost all BKK services and suburban buses (lines 1-99, 101-299, 900-999, M1, M2, M3, M4, D14), on HÉV suburban railway lines H5, H6, H7, H8, H9, and on designated regional services of VOLÁNBUSZ.
Ticket validation
Please note that the time-based, 30-minute ticket is required to be validated before you start your trip, by scanning the code stickers to be found at the metro station entrances and on the outside by the door of other lines or in case you use the BudapestGO app, touch your phone to the NFC sticker to immediately validate your ticket. The validity period of the 30-minute ticket starts when the validation code is scanned for the first time. Important: the code must be scanned again when you transfer to another line. Please note that upon transferring between metrolines, there is no need to revalidate your ticket. At the metro station entrances or at the front door on vehicles where the front-door-only boarding policy is applicable, please show the animated symbol upon request by the ticket inspector, please present the code to be found under the details of the ticket. Validity period
You can finish your trip started within 30 minutes beyond the 30th minute until you reach your destination within Budapest, as the 30-minute ticket is valid until you leave the vehicle. Your last transfer should be within the given 30 minutes calculated from its validation.

Further information
This type of ticket can be purchased only via a smart phone and no paper-based equivalent exists. After it has been purchased successfully, the 30-minute ticket is required to be validated upon boarding and you are ready to travel.
