Tram 18: shortened route

On 17 and 18 January 2015 (Saturday and Sunday), tram 18 was running on a shortened route between Savoya Park and Dózsa György tér, while the route section between Széll Kálmán tér M and Dózsa György tér was replaced by buses.

Replacement bus 18 departed from Széll Kálmán tér M terminus and was running to Dózsa György tér via Széll Kálmán tér–Margit körút–Széll Kálmán tér–Krisztina körút–Magyar jakobinusok tere–Krisztina körút–Dózsa György tér serving the stops below:

• Széll Kálmán tér M: passenger drop-off point of buses 22, 22A and 222
• Széll Kálmán tér M (Csaba utca): stop of buses 5 and 39
• Déli pályaudvar M: stop of tram 18
• Mikó utca: stop of tram 18

Trams 59 and 59A: replaced by buses between Széll Kálmán tér and Mindszenty József bíboros tér

On 17 and 18 January 2015 (Saturday and Sunday), trams 59 and 59A were out of service. Replacement bus 59 was operating between Széll Kálmán tér M and Mindszenty József bíboros tér. To reach Széll Kálmán tér from Szent János kórház during this period, passengers could take buses 5, 22, 22A, 91, 155 and 222 as well as tram replacement bus 61running via Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor. (See replacement of tram 61 further below)

Changes in the services of public bus lines originally operating on Széll Kálmán tér

From 17 January 2015, bus 116 is running on a modified route to Dísz tér via Fény utcai piac- Retek utca- Dékán utca- Széll Kálmán tér-Margit körút-Ostrom utca- Bécsi kapu tér. Bus 116 serves the replacement bus stop on Széll Kálmán tér. The Mátray utca stop has been relocated in Ostrom utca opposite to the intersection of Szabó Ilonka utca. Bus 116 is expected to run on this modified route until the beginning of March.

From 17 January 2015 (Saturday) until circa the beginning of March, the terminus boarding point of buses 16 and 16A on Széll Kálmán tér M are relocated 15 metres further up the street.

Also the route of bus 916 has been modified: due to construction works, the route section on Margit körút are not served

• departing from the same terminus as buses 16 and 16A, bus 916 to Uránia runs on a modified route via Széll Kálmán tér-Várfok utca
• bus 916 to Széll Kálmán tér M runs on a modified route via the intersection of Várfok utca/Vérmező utca- Várfok utca- Széll Kálmán tér to the same terminus as that of the buses 16 and 16A.

The route of bus 916 is diverted until circa the beginning of March.

On 17 and 18 January 2015 (on Saturday and Sunday), the drop-off points of buses 22, 22A and 222 on Széll Kálmán tér M terminus were relocated to the drop-off points of buses 91, 149, 155 and 156.
