Traffic restrictions in Budapest during the Big Run (Nagy Futam) between 30 April and 1 May 2017

The Big Run (Nagy Futam) race-car exhibition takes place between 30 April and 1 May 2017, with traffic restrictions planned on the capital’s main traffic routes. On 29 April, only Bárczy István utca will be closed, then on 30 April traffic restrictions will be introduced on  Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út and Károly körút, while on 1 May restrictions will be in place on Andrássy út and its surroundings, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, Károly körút, József Attila utca and Wesselényi utca. Due to the traffic restrictions, the operation of the affected public transport services –metro replacement bus M2A, bus lines 9, 15-115, 16 and 105, tram lines 47, 49 and 61, metro line M1 as well as trolleybus lines 70, 74 and 78 – will be modified. BKK advises would be spectators to approach the event venues by metro.
